So if your Mac can do DP1.4 (and I hear MBP with Radeon dGPU can, at least work issued MBP 15" 2018 appears to drive 4K60Hz over Lenovo USB-C gen 2 dock and still has USB 3.0 at the same time) - it should be able to get one main monitor + USB3.0 via same 40AS dock. macOS requires TB3 to do multiple monitors (software limitation). 3440x1440p + 1440p should be possible (it allegedly can do dual 4K60Hz according to Lenovo documentation with DP1.4 AMD machines, I sadly don't have Ryzen 4000 machine yet to test).Ĭompatibility with macOS is a show stopper for universal single cable approach. New USB-C gen 2 dock from Lenovo (40AS) appears to match AMD Ryzen 4000 machines perfectly - it does more than DP 1.2 over USB-C could ever do and for machines without TB3 it's very nice. I believe new machines with Ryzen 4000 rely on DP1.4 over USB-C for the best possible "outcome" for their external monitor connections. TL DR single cable dock for 2 monitors has to be TB3 for macOS, and there is no TB3 on Ryzen 4000 machines => all shared solutions are suboptimal unless you buy 2 docks, but combination of 40AS Lenovo dock for 150$ and 20$ usb-c ->DP1.2 dongle seems like a reasonable price and compromise (slower charge and 2 cables for MacBook, perfect match for T14s with full charge and single usb-c connection ) ![]() ![]() ![]() Explore a range of women’s shorts to find the perfect pick for you. '2-in-1 shorts have a longer inner layer which can help prevent chafing, and cover modesty if you don't like wearing something too short,' says Stewart. 2-in-1 shorts can be a great compromise, as they look like classic shorts but they have a tight cycle-style layer underneath to minimise rubbing, while the relaxed outer layer provides extra coverage. If the idea of wearing skintight shorts turns you cold but it's too warm to run in leggings, you do still have options. 'Compression shorts will also help improve blood flow for faster recovery and help to protect against overuse injuries,' says Nicola Stewart from Up and Running. But slightly longer, form-fitting shorts that have more of a compression effect are well suited to women who run, as they minimise chafe and maximise comfort. Confusingly, they are still called cycling shorts (as cyclists got their first). Tired of thigh-rub or tiny shorts that ride up? Running brands have finally seen the light! And cycling-style shorts are now mainstream kit for runners looking for chafe-free comfort. The good news is women's running shorts have come on leaps and bounds in recent years, and now there really is a pair for all seasons. And don't even get us started on leg length. However, finding women's running shorts that are flattering, chafe-free, stay in place and have enough pockets to store your essentials (more pockets please), can feel like an uphill struggle. It also limits the craft’s airspeed, making it easier to control. If you’re just getting started, the X-Star’s beginner mode creates a geo-fence beyond which your drone can’t fly. You can program the drone to follow a subject, orbit a location or fly to user-selected waypoints for hands-off flight. It taps both GPS and Russia’s GLONASS satellites for accurate outdoor navigation. The craft uses the company’s Starpoint Positioning technology to fly accurately even when GPS is lost. Both modules are mounted to a 3-axis, stabilized gimbal to keep your aerial footage smooth. A second module incorporates a FLIR Duo thermal/visual camera. Of most interest to aerial filmmakers is an updated camera module sporting a 1-inch, 20-megapixel sensor for higher-quality 4K video and improved performance in low light.
